The First Post

Bando here. Facilitating the interactions of Bird and the Brotherhood of the Helping Hand.

This blog, which will be Big Bird's own, is for him to communicate with us and for us to share our positive mojo with him. It's also for him to post a job list, a needs list, a general help me brothers list, and just about any darn list he wants to post. It is outside the normal MSU Theta Chi site so that Bird can easily post anything and say just about anything that crosses his mind, swearing and all. With that said, I recommend the following:

-- You should sign up as a follower of this blog. Do that in the upper right hand corner. But, when you do, use your *PERSONAL* email account, NOT your work email. I have received dozens of kicked back email notices from your employers saying their email filters did not approve of the content. Not only are you missing out on the fun of communicating, you risk a visit from one of the worms in the computer closet and HR.

-- Check back here often and keep the comments positive! We will give him strength to beat this cold.

-- Keep the posts coming, but remember that Bird will be in treatment a lot and a PC may not be handy, so a message that doesn't require electrons or batteries (i.e. an old-fashioned letter or card, stuffed in an envelope and mailed with a stamp) will be invaluable, too.

Anymore, well, we'll all make it up as we go along. For now, post away.
